We discovered switchel back in 2015 while visiting family in Michigan. Matt’s grandfather is a life-long switchel fan and sent us to the local farmer’s market to buy some. (He knows a thing or two about healthy living — he’s kept a phenomenal organic garden for 30 years.) One growler and we were hooked. We loved the taste and how switchel made us feel energized and refreshed. When we returned to Seattle, we couldn’t find switchel anywhere and started making our own. We learned how to make apple cider vinegar from scratch, kept refining our recipes, and invited family and friends over for taste tests. When they became switchel fanatics, too, we decided to make enough switchel for everyone.
